Kilbrin Graveyard Inscriptions
The graveyard in Kilbrin is maintained by an all-volunteer group, without compensation. The group meet regularly to perform grass cutting, weed spraying, litter collection, and general maintenance. During the summer months, this is done on a fortnightly basis. Apart from this, the following additional work was performed during the last number of years:-
→ Erection of a stone alter
→ Concrete footpath laid from the main gate of the graveyard.
→ Chipping of the some sections of the graveyard
The expenses incurred in the above is part funded by Cork County Council. The outstanding balance is paid for by fundraising events and collections / donations.
